About
A planning desk, not a booking engine
We are a small planning team in Hanoi with ground teams in each of the six countries. One coordinator plans your trip and stays with it until you are home.
About
Who we are
Asia Crossings exists because a multi-country trip needs someone whose job is the joins rather than the sights. It is the Southeast Asia planning desk of a Hanoi travel group that has been sending people across this region for years. Our office is on Ma May Street in the Old Quarter. Our guides and drivers are local in each country — not a Vietnamese team flown into Cambodia for the week — and they are briefed on your itinerary before you land.
We are deliberately small. One coordinator carries a limited number of trips at a time, which is the only way the promise on the rest of this site works: that the person who planned your route is the one who answers when the plan needs changing. We would rather turn a week away than take a trip we cannot run properly, and in the high season we sometimes do.

How we work
How we work
- 01
You tell us the constraints
Dates, budget shape, who is travelling, and what would make the trip a success.
- 02
We propose a route
Day by day, with the joins explained and the reason for each choice written down.
- 03
We change it
Usually two or three rounds. Each version is re-quoted and itemised.
- 04
We run it
Local guides and drivers, one coordinator reachable throughout, and an alternative ready for the parts that can move.
Our practice
What we will not do
- We will not print a visa fee we have not verified, or a border status we cannot source. Where we do not know, the page says so.
- We will not put a nine-hour road day in a family itinerary because it saves a flight.
- We will not sell a boat trip in a month when we expect it to be cancelled.
- We will not hand your passport details to a visa agent. Applications are made in your own name on the official portal, and we tell you exactly which one.
The border decides the route more often than the map does.
How we plan multi-country trips
The other half of that practice is knowing when a trip is not for us. We do not run fixed departures, we do not sell cruise packages, and we are not the right people for a conference or an incentive group. If what you want is one of those, we will say so in the first reply rather than three emails in.
On the ground
Where we work, and who is on the ground
Planning happens in Hanoi. Operations happen in six countries, through ground teams we use repeatedly rather than whoever is cheapest for a given week: drivers who have taken our travellers over the Hai Van pass and through the Moc Bai gate dozens of times, guides in Siem Reap and Luang Prabang who we have worked with for years, and boat operators in Ha Long, Komodo and Palawan whose safety practice we have seen for ourselves.
That continuity is the whole reason a multi-country route holds together. When a flight moves and the Phnom Penh driver needs to meet a later crossing at Bavet, it is a phone call to someone who knows us, not a booking through a platform. It is also why we say no to some requests: if we do not have a team somewhere, we would rather tell you than subcontract to a stranger and hope.
